Planning Step: Best Fit Options
Strategic Management Concepts presents a brief overview of the principles and practices of strategic management in business to support your evaluation of different adaptation options for your farm. Although the term “strategic management” is bantered around a lot in the business world, it is not understood very well by most people. Essentially strategic management answers the questions of “Where do you want your business to go?” (goals), “How is your business going to get there?” (strategy), and “How will you know when you get there?” (evaluation). Farmers can use this resource to sharpen and expand the knowledge and skills you need to confidently select the climate risk management and resilience practices that are best suited to your farming operation.
