New York State Climate Summary reports up-to-date information on observed changes in climate, including both long-term trends and extreme weather events for the state of New York. The summary consists of observed and projected climate change information and focus on characteristics of the physical climate and coastal climate change impacts and include historical climate variations and trends, future climate model projections of climate conditions during the 21st century, and past and future conditions of sea level and coastal flooding. One of a series of state summaries produced for the US National Climate Assessment, this resource will be useful if you are interested to learn more about the science behind estimates of current and future changes in weather patterns.
